Valamangalam North, September 25, 2025 — Sree Gokulam SNGM College of Pharmacy proudly celebrated World Pharmacist Day 2025, aligning with the global theme, "Think Health, Think Pharmacist." The successful event emphasized the crucial role of pharmacists as guardians of public health and medication safety.
The day's events commenced promptly at 9:30 AM with a special lecture on “Drug Safety – A Regulatory Control Perspective.” The insightful session was delivered by the esteemed Mrs. Manju Prathap, Drugs Inspector, Alappuzha. Mrs. Prathap thoroughly highlighted the critical responsibilities pharmacists hold in ensuring safe and effective healthcare delivery, detailing the regulatory frameworks and ethical standards that govern pharmacy practice. Her lecture helped students gain a deeper understanding of the importance of compliance in maintaining public health standards.
Following the special lecture, the College hosted a stimulating Pharmacy Quiz Competition for students, with exciting prizes awarded to the winners. The competition fostered knowledge-sharing and tested the students' understanding of pharmacology and industry current affairs.
