In honor of World Environment Day, Sree Gokulam SNGM College of Pharmacy organized a meaningful celebration on June 5, 2025, aligning with the global theme "Beat Plastic Pollution."
The event began at 10:00 AM and was marked by active participation from students, faculty, and staff. The celebration featured:
🌿 Medicinal Plant Plantation Drive – Students planted a variety of medicinal herbs around the campus, promoting environmental sustainability and awareness of the healing power of plants.
📱 Instagram Reel Competition – A creative digital challenge encouraged students to spread eco-conscious messages through short videos, promoting plastic-free practices and daily environmental care.
The event reinforced the idea that “small actions, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world,” echoing the college’s commitment to environmental responsibility and education.
